Nov 1, 2010 Stephen F. Austin State Historical State Park
Arriving at Stephen F. Austin State Historical State Park in San Felipe, TX along the Brazos River, you are greeted by beautiful homes, charming tiny white-tailed deer, and a totally Sycamore tree wooded campground…with full hook-ups. See Photos Here
After visiting the San Felipe de Austin historical site we came away with a new understanding of how important this area was - Being the social, economic, and political center, as well as the first capital of the provisional government of Texas.
This will be our home for the next five days – part of which Rick will be attending a meeting in Florida. So yes, Sandy and I will hold down the fort.
