After visiting the San Felipe de Austin historical site we came away with a new understanding of how important this area was - Being the social, economic, and political center, as well as the first capital of the provisional government of Texas.
This will be our home for the next five days – part of which Rick will be attending a meeting in Florida. So yes, Sandy and I will hold down the fort.
